2014年秋冬,香港。

數萬人佔領街道,以公民抗命的方式爭取民主,最終演變成長達七十九天的雨傘運動。運動充滿希望地開始,冷清地結束,香港人沒有爭取到民主寸進,但中間我們經歷了甚麼呢?這是數個年青人參與抗爭的故事。當日的理想與勇氣,將是我們堅持下去的備忘。

本片入圍第五十三屆台北金馬獎最佳紀錄片,並入選各地大小影展及電影節,包括台灣國際紀錄片影展、南方影展、加拿大溫哥華國際電影節及捷克Jihlava國際紀錄片節。

28. SEP - 15. DEC. 2014, Hong Kong.

Hundreds of thousands of passionate and hopeful protesters occupied roads for a democratic universal suffrage via civil disobedience. It however turned to be a 79-day social movement, which names as Umbrella Movement and ended without any political advancement. What had we experienced? This is a story of a group of young people and a documentary director, who went through the whole Umbrella Movement. Their courage and ideal remind us to keep standing on.

The film was nominated for the Best Documentary at the 53rd Taipei Golden Horse Awards, and was selected by film festivals around the world. It includes Taiwan International Documentary Festival, South Taiwan Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival and Jihlava International Documentary Festival.


導演簡歷 Director Biography

陳梓桓

政策及行政學系畢業,後在浸大修讀電影電視及數碼媒體碩士課程,短片作品包括 《香港人不知道的》(2013)、《作為雨水:表象及意志》(2014), 以陰謀論的故事及偽紀錄片的手法描繪香港的政治氛圍。2014年以攝影機參與雨傘運動,兩年後完成首部紀錄長片《亂世備忘》。

Chan Tze-woon

After studying Policy and Administration, Chan went on to complete a master’s degree in Film, Television and Digital Media at Baptist University. His short works include The Aqueous Truth (2013) and Being Rain: Representation and Will (2014), which portrays Hong Kong’s political atmosphere in a narrative of conspiracy and pseudo-documentary. In 2014, he partook in the Umbrella Movement with his camera and two years later produced his first feature length documentary Yellowing.
